ベルン市内の少し外れた所に、ベルン美術館がある。 印象よりも、ややこじんまりとした建物だった。 2階が企画展、1階が常設展という構成で、私が訪れた時は、中国の現代アートの企画展が行われていた。 1階の常設展は、やや小さめなスペースで、セザンヌ、マチス、ピカソなどの作品が並んでいたが、もうちょっと作品を展示してほしいな、と感じてしまった。 The Bern Museum of Art is just outside Bern's city. ベルンはスイスの首都だが、そうした雰囲気は全く感じられない。 中世の河沿いにある小さな町が、現在まで残ってしまった、という印象が強い。 アーレ川の対岸から見たベルンの街並みは、例えようのないほど美しい。 Bern is the capital of Switzerland, but I can not feel such an atmosphere at all.
